An NHEJ inhibitor; selectively inhibits DNA ligase IV- over ligase I- or ligase III-mediated end-joining in cell-free assays at 200 µM; cytotoxic to NALM6 and Reh leukemia and HeLa cervical cancer cells (IC50s = 2.2, 14.1, and 5.9 µM, respectively); induces DNA DSBs in Reh cells from 7-21 µM
