A prodrug form of HEX; selectively reduces the cell density of ENO1-/- D-423MG cells (IC50 = 38 nM) over ENO1-overexpressing D-423MG cells and LN-319 cells expressing wild-type ENO1 (IC50s = 604 and 2,148 nM, respectively); reduces cell density in normoxic and hypoxic growth conditions in ENO1-/- D-423MG cells (IC50s = 79 and 201 nM, respectively)
