A dual agonist of TLR7 and TLR8; induces activation of NF-κB in HEK293 cells expressing human TLR7 or TLR8 at 0.1 and 1 µg/ml, respectively; induces TNF-α production and enhances LPS- or hyaluronic acid-induced TNF-α, IL-10, and IL-12 production in isolated human monocyte-derived macrophages; increases pancreatic lymph node IFN-α levels in pre-diabetic NOD mice
