Description
Activates adenylate cyclase by directly interacting with the catalytic subunit of the enzyme EC50=2-10uM. Cell permeable and active in vivo. Most cell culture studies employ a working concentration of 5 or 10uM. Do not make stock solutions in ethanol. Ethanol inhibits forskolin activation of adenylate cyclase. 1, 9-Dideoxyforskolin may be used as a negative control
