Description
A CID for FKBPF36V fusion proteins; selectively binds to FKBPF36V over wild-type FKBP (IC50s = 0.005 and >10 µM, respectively); induces apoptosis in HT-1080 cells expressing a FKBPF36V fusion protein with the intracellular domain of Fas that contains a myristoylation sequence (EC50 = ~0.1 nM); induces apoptosis in primary human T lymphocytes expressing a FKBPF36V-Fas fusion protein (IC50 = ~0.2 nM); decreases serum hGH levels in mice injected with HT-1080 cells expressing FKBPF36V-Fas that constitutively secrete hGH, indicating conditional cell ablation (ED50 = 0.4 mg/kg)
