A synthetic flavonoid with diverse biological activities; inhibits EV71 replication in infected RD cells (EC50 = 19.95 µM); reduces nicotine-induced production of ROS and cytotoxicity in NRK-52E cells at 20 µM; inhibits LPS-induced production of NO, PGE2, TNF-α, and IL-6 in RAW 264.7 cells; reduces acetic acid-induced writhing in mice (ED50 = 125 mg/kg)
