An inhibitor of sortilin (IC50 = 330 nM); selective for sortilin over NTS1, δ-opioid, AT1, ETA, and ETB receptors, GPR40, PPARδ, MMP-12, and EP1; inhibits EMT in, and reduces migration and invasion of, U87 and A172 glioblastoma cells at 400 nM; reduces tumor growth in a glioblastoma multiforme mouse xenograft model at 0.01 g/kg per day
