An allosteric, sepecific inhibitor of substrate recognition by the SCFCdc4 ubiquitin ligase with IC50 of 6.2uM in FP assyas; does not affect the activity of the closely related E3 enzyme SCFMet30, inhibits binding and/or ubiquitination of both full length Sic1 and Far1 with IC50 of 60uM
