A class III antiarrhythmic agent that blocks hERG channel; blocks HERG channel at 0.1 and 1 Hz with IC50s of 1.4uM and 5.2uM respectively; blocks the rapidly activating component of the delayed rectifier, IKr (IC50=0.4uM), and inhibits IKs (IC50=3uM); shows anti-arrhythmic effects.
