E 5555 hydrobromide is a potent and orally bioactive thrombin receptor (or protease-activated receptor 1, PAR1) antagonist (IC50 = 19 nM). It inhibits human platelet aggregation induced by thrombin and TRAP with IC50 values of 64 and 31nM, respectively
