A positive modulator of the small-conductance calcium-activated potassium channels KCa2.2/SK2 and KCa2.3/SK3 (EC50s = 14 and 5.6 µM, respectively); inactive on both KCa2.1/SK1 and KCa3.1/SK4; increases the apparent calcium-sensitivity of channel activation of KCa2.3/SK3, changing the EC50 value of calcium activation from 429 to 59 nM
