A limonoid with diverse biological activities; inhibits the growth of D. oryzae by 64.8% at 1,000 ppm; has antifeedant activity against S. littoralis in a choice test at 0.02-2,000 µM; decreases melanin content to 20.9% of control in B16 murine melanoma cells at 25 µg/ml; inhibits TPA-induced activation of EBV-EA in Raji cells (IC50 = 499 mol ratio/32 pmol TPA)
