A SIRT3 inhibitor (IC50 = 38 µM); selective for SIRT3 over SIRT1 and SIRT2 at 1 mM; increases acetylation of lysine residues in mitochondrial proteins in HeLa cells at 1 mM; inhibits the growth of CCRF-CEM, COLO 205, OVCAR-4, OVCAR-8, and SKOV3 cells by >50% at 10 µM
