Indimilast is a phosphodiesterase IV inhibitor. It modulates lung inflammation and cause bronchodilation by increasing intracellular cyclic adenosine 3', 5'-monophosphate in airway smooth muscle and inflammatory cells. It is potential useful in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)
