MP-A08 is a cell permeable selective inhibitor of sphingosine kinase 2 (Ki=6.9 µM) and 1 (Ki=27 µM) with little affinity for other kinases.
In vitro: inhibits cellular S1P production and increases sphingosine and ceramide levels
