Description
Zika virus envelope protein is partially derived from zika envelope designed with minimal level cross-reaction with other Flavivirus such as dengue virus, and specially for the development of rapid test product or ELISA test, A 6 x histidine tag attached to its C-terminal.
Zika virus is a member of genus Flavivirus, it is transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes, the same Aedes mosquitoes are also the carrier and the transmitter of dengue virus. Aedes mosquitoes distribute in tropical and subtropical regions throughout the world. Till Jan 2016, there are over 1.6 million Zika virus infection case reports from South America, but it is estimated that there are over 5 million people with Zika virus infection in Brazil due to unknown infection, over five thousand new babies have been borne with microcephaly, in the infected adults, Zika disease may develop neurologic damage with the symptoms of Guillain–Barré syndrome
