Carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 3 isoform 2, also known as CEACAM3, belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily of genes encode cell adhesion proteins, which are expressed at higher levels in tumorous tissues than in normal tissues.
