Description
CALML3 belongs to the calmodulin family and contains 4 EF-hand domains. This protein may be similar to that of authentic calmodulin and may actually compete with calmodulin by binding, with different affinities, to cellular substrates. CALML3 is expressed in normal mammary, prostate, cervical, and epidermal tissues. Recombinant human CALML3 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques
