Description
HspH1 is a member of the mammalian Hsp105/110 family, a subgroup of the Hsp70 family. Two isoforms of HspH1, alpha and beta, have been identified. HspH1 associates with Hsp70/Hsc70 as complexes and negatively regulates the chaperone activity of Hsp70/Hsc70 in vivo and in vitro. HspH1 is highly expressed in many human tumors.
Recombinant human HspH1 produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide containing 894 amino acids with a molecular weight of 100kDa. It is expressed with a His-tag at the N-terminus
