Description

Sortase A is derived from Staphylococcus aureus and is recombinantly expressed in E. coli. This enzyme is a bacterial transpeptidase that specifically recognizes the LPXTG sequence, cleaves between threonine and glycine, covalently links proteins to the bacterial cell wall, and catalyzes the formation of an amide bond between the carboxyl group of threonine and the amino group of cell wall peptidoglycan. It can achieve specific conjugation of proteins with polypeptides/chemical groups and has no exogenous protease activity.Storage solution: 40 mM Tris-HCl, 110 mM NaCl, 2.2 mM KCl, 8 mM imidazole, 0.04% Tween-20, 20% glycerol, pH = 8.0Transportation and Storage MethodsStorage: This product should be stored at -20°C and can be kept for at least 12 months.Transportation: Transported with dry ice insulation, with stable activity.Product ApplicationThis product can site-specifically link proteins/peptides with a C-terminal LPXTG sequence to other proteins or molecules with glycine or aminomethylene groups. It can achieve specific conjugation of proteins with polypeptides/chemical groups and has no exogenous protease activity.PrecautionsAfter receiving this product, try to avoid repeated freezing and thawing as much as possible; When using, please wear an experimental coat and disposable gloves; This product must not be directly used for clinical diagnosis and treatmen
