The hepcidin/HAMP protein is a liver-produced hormone that is a major regulator of iron absorption and distribution. It promotes endocytosis and degradation of SLC40A1, retaining iron within cells and reducing plasma iron flux. Hepcidin/HAMP Protein, Mouse (GST) is the recombinant mouse-derived Hepcidin/HAMP protein, expressed by E. coli, with N-GST labeled tag
