Description
Bovine Factor IX Purified has been purified from bovine plasma. This is a frozen liquid buffered in 20 mM Tris-HCl/0.1 M NaCl/1mM Benzamidine95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis (showing no reduction when incubated with 2-mercaptoethanol)pH 7.4, with a concentration of 2mg/ml and a purity of greater than or equal to 94% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis (showing no reduction when incubated with 2-mercaptoethanol).
Factor IX produced as a zymogen and plays a role in blood coagulation (activated Factor IX is responsible for the activation of Factor X to Xa). Factor IX is inhibited by antithrombin, and Factor IX deficiency causes hemophilia
