Description
Clusterin is a host cell protein (HCP) generated by CHO cells during production of biotherapeutics. This process-related impurity accumulates in the extracellular space as it is released from dead CHO cells and secreted from viable cells during cell culture. Clusterin can be present as a contaminant in therapeutic monoclonal antibody (mAb) formulations by binding to IgGs at both Fc and Fab regions through multivalent mechanisms, and co-eluting with mAbs during protein A purification.
Purified recombinant CHO Clusterin (CLU) expressed in CHO-S cells. Contains a 6xHIS tag
