Description
Introduction: CD9 which is found on the surface of exosomes is a cell surface glycoprotein which is interacts with integrins and various transmembrane superfamily proteins. CD9 is involved in platelet activation and aggregation and also regulates paranodal junction formation. CD9 takes part in cell adhesion and migration and also promotes muscle cell fusion. CD9 is necessary for the egg-sperm fusion during mammalian fertilization.
Description: CD9 Human Recombinant produced in HEK293 Cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 93 amino acids (112-195a.a) and having a molecular mass of 10.7kDa. CD9 is fused to 6 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques
