Description
Rat Factor Xa Purified has been prepared from Rat Factor X by activation with Russell's Viper Venon that is then removed after activation. This is a frozen liquid buffered in 20 mM Tris-HCl/0.7 M NaCl/pH 7.4, with a concentration of 1mg/ml. Complete activation observed by SDS-PAGE analysis.
Factor Xa, with cofactor Va, forms the prothrombinase complex (which helps to catalyze the conversion of prothrombin to thrombin)
