Description
The CLEC9A Protein, expressed on a specific subset of myeloid cells, efficiently uptakes and processes material from deceased cells. It recognizes filamentous actin, especially with actin-binding domains like spectrin, when cell membranes are compromised. This facilitates Syk-dependent cross-presentation of antigens from dead cells. CLEC9A functions as a homodimer, highlighting its role in specialized endocytic processes of myeloid cells. CLEC9A Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived CLEC9A protein, expressed by HEK293, with N-hFc labeled tag
