Lipid transport protein in adipocytes. Binds both long chain fatty acids and retinoic acid. Delivers long-chain fatty acids and retinoic acid to their cognate receptors in the nucleus (By similarity). Involved in the regulation of intramuscular fat accretion (PubMed:9880671)
