Recombinant Sheep Interleukin-22 (IL-22) is a recombinant protein corresponding to aa 34-190 of native sheep IL-22.
Sheep IL-22 is produced in a range of cell types that include activated T cells and dendritic cells, subsets of splenic cells and Th17 cells. Ovine IL-22 modulates the inflammatory responses to bacterial pathogens, in particular in epithelial cells of the respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts
