Description

C-type lectin domain family 2, also referred to CLEC2D, is a receptor for KLRB1 which protects target cells against natural killer cell-mediated lysis. It has been shown that CLEC2Dinhibits osteoclast formation and bone resorption. The protein controls the release of interferon-gamma and contains a transmembrane domain near the N-terminus likewisethe C-type lectin-like extracellular domain.
CLEC2D Human Recombinant produced in E Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 155 amino acids (60-191 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 17.7 kDa.
CLEC2D is fused to a 23 amino acid His tag at N-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques
