Recombinant full-length mouse ERK7 (MAPK15) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag. The gene accession number is BC048082.
ERK8 as a distinct member of the MAPK family that is activated by a Src-dependent signaling pathway, involved in control of its cellular localization by nuclear exclusion, and suggest a key role for this MAP kinase in the regulation of the biological activities of this nuclear receptor (1).
