Alpha-actinin-4 (118-127) is a bioactive peptide of Alpha-actinin-4. F-actin cross-linking protein is thought to anchor actin to a variety of intracellular structures. Alpha-actinin-4 also functions as a transcriptional coactivator, stimulating transcription mediated by the nuclear hormone receptors PPARG and RARA
