Description
Product Characteristics: Protein. The extracellular domain of human IL-10Ralpha (aa 22-235) is fused to the N-terminus of the Fc region of human IgG1. Source: HEK 293 cells. Endotoxin content: <5EU/mg protein (LAL test, Lonza). Lyophilized from 0.2µm-filtered solution in PBS. Purity: >98 % (SDS-PAGE). CD210, also known as IL10RA, is a subunit for the interleukin-10 receptor. IL10RA has also been designated CDW210A (cluster of differentiation W210A). It is structurally related to interferon receptors. CD210 has been shown to mediate the immunosuppressive signal of interleukin 10, and thus inhibits the synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines. It has been reported that CD210 promotes survival of progenitor myeloid cells through the insulin receptor substrate-2/PI 3-kinase/AKT pathway. Activation of CD210 leads to tyrosine phosphorylation of JAK1 and TYK2 kinases.

Target Information: The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for interleukin 10. This protein is structurally related to interferon receptors. It has been shown to mediate the immunosuppressive signal of interleukin 10, and thus inhibits the synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines. This receptor is reported to promote survival of progenitor myeloid cells through the insulin receptor substrate-2/PI 3-kinase/AKT pathway. Activation of this receptor leads to tyrosine phosphorylation of JAK1 and TYK2 kinases. Two transcript variants, one protein-coding and the other not protein-coding, have been found for this gene.
