Description: MMP14 Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 527 amino acids (21-538a.a) and having a molecular mass of 59.9kDa. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 35-70kDa). MMP14 is fused to a 6 amino acid His-tag at C-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Introduction: Matrix metalloproteinase-14 (MMP14), is a membrane-anchored zinc-binding endopeptidase which is expressed at the leading edge of different invasive carcinomas and also promotes tumor cell invasion through degradation of the extracellular matrix.
