Description
EPHB4 Mouse Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 532 amino acids (16-539 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 58.7kDa (Migrates at 50-70kDa on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions). EPHB4 is expressed with an 8 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Introduction: Ephrin type-B receptor 4 isoform b (Ephb4) belongs to the Eph receptor tyrosine kinase family which functions in neuronal guidance and mediate venal/arterial separation. EPHB4-mediated forward signaling regulates cellular repulsion and segregation form EFNB2-expressing cells. Furthermore, Ephb4 has a role in postnatal blood vessel remodeling, morphogenesis and permeability and is therefore essential in the context of tumor angiogenesis
