Description: IL17RA Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 527 amino acids (33-320) and having a molecular mass of 60.4kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 70-100kDa). IL17RA is fused to a 239 amino acids hIgG-His-Tag at C-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Introduction: Interleukin-17 receptor A isoform 1 (IL17RA) is a cytokine receptor which binds interleukin 17. IL17RA is a potent inducer of the maturation of CD34-positive hematopoietic precursors into neutrophils. IL17RA is a type 1 membrane glycoprotein which binds with low affinity to interleukin 17A. The IL17RA protein and Interleukin 17A has a pathogenic role in many inflammatory and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.
