Description

Description: SPOCK3 Mouse Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 423 amino acids (22-436 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 47.9kDa (Migrates at 40-57kDa on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions). SPOCK3 is expressed with an 8 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Introduction: Testican-3 (Spock3) is a nervous system-expressed heparan sulfate proteoglycan belonging to a subgroup of the BM-40/SPARC/osteonectin family, whose role of in brain development is unclear. Spock3 inhibits the processing of pro-matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP-2) by MT1-MMP and MT3-MMP. Spock3 is mostly confined to the developmental stage of the brain
