Description
Human papillomaviruses (HPVs) are a group family with more than 150 related viruses. HPV6 and 11 considered as low-risk HPVs can be sexually transmitted causing warts to appear on or around the genitals or anus, known as condylomata acuminate. HPV 6 large capsid is used in clinical diagnosis to test the specific antibody to this virus infection, the positive reaction of this antibody is considered as a marker for current and past infection. HPV 6 large capsid is also used as a potential candidate for vaccine development. Recombinant rHPV6 antigen is a 55.60 kDa protein covering full length of HPV6 major capsid, its N-terminus is fused with GST tag, the total expressed molecular size is 81.60 kDa
