Description

Description: Hypoxia-inducible factor 1, alpha subunit inhibitor (HIF1AN), a member of the Fe2+ and 2-oxoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase superfamily, is protein that hydoxylates a specific asparagine residue (Asn-803) within the HIF1alpha C-terminal transactivation domain. In normoxia, the HIF1AN-mediated hydroxylation of the HIF1alpha transactivation domain results in blockage of the HIF1alpha-p300/CBP interaction and represses transcriptional activity of HIF1alpha-targeted genes. Recombinant human HIF1AN protein was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques
