Description
Interkeukin-2 is a pleiotropic cytokine produced primarily by mitogenic or antigen activated T lymphocytes. IL-2 plays a key role in T cell proliferation and promotes the proliferation, expansion and differentiation of a wide variety of antigen specific cells. Our recombinant Interleukin-2 comprises a 133 amino acid fragment (21-153) corresponding to the mature Interleukin-2 protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag.
