Glia maturation factor gamma (GMF-gamma) is a cytokine-responsive protein in erythropoietin-induced and granulocyte-colony stimulating factor-induced hematopoietic lineage development. Also Glia maturation factor is a nerve growth factor implicated in nervous system development, angiogenesis and immune function.
