NFKBIE ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein NFKB inhibitor epsilon, which is encoded by the NFKBIE gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to inhibit NF-kappa-B by complexing with and trapping it in the cytoplasm. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 500 residues, a mass of 52.9 kDa, and is a member of the NF-kappa-B inhibitor protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is reported to be highly expressed in spleen, testis and lung, followed by kidney, pancreas, heart, placenta and brain. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include NF-kappa-B inhibitor epsilon, I-kappa-B-epsilon, NF-kappa-BIE, ikB-E, ikB-epsilon, and IKBE.
There are NFKBIE ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 62.5 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
