The ELISA kits listed below target SPATA5, the symbol for the human gene, spermatogenesis associated 5, and a member of the AAA ATPase family, AFG2 subfamily. The protein encoded by SPATA5 has a predicted amino acid length of 893, a mass of 97.9 kDa, and a cytoplasmic and mitochondrial subcellular localization. There are currently 3 reported isoforms. Pathologic involvement is reported in Epilepsy, hearing loss, and mental retardation syndrome. SPATA5 may also be known by the following names: EHLMRS, AFG2, spermatogenesis-associated factor protein, spermatogenesis associated factor SPAF, ATPase family gene 2 homolog, and ATPase family protein 2 homolog.
