GLIS2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein GLIS family zinc finger 2, which is encoded by the GLIS2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in nervous system development and the regulation of transcription. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 524 residues, a mass of 55.7 kDa, and is a member of the GLI C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is notably expressed at high levels in kidney and at low levels in heart, lung and placenta. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved. The GLIS2 gene has been associated with the disease, Nephronophthisis. Other alias names for this target include GLI-similar 2, Kruppel-like zinc finger protein GLIS2, nephrocystin-7, neuronal Krueppel-like protein, and zinc finger protein GLIS2.
There are GLIS2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
