SORBS2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein sorbin and SH3 domain containing 2, which is encoded by the SORBS2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported adaptor protein that plays a role in the assembling of signaling complexes, being a link between ABL kinases and actin cytoskeleton. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1100 residues and a mass of 124.1 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm and is found to be highly expressed in heart. As many as 12 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include PRO0618, sorbin and SH3 domain-containing protein 2, Arg binding protein 2, Arg/Abl-interacting protein 2, arg-binding protein 2, and ARGBP2.
The detection range for different SORBS2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
