These SS1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of SS1 in biological samples. SS1 is an alias of the human HLA-DRB1 gene, which encodes the protein, major histocompatibility complex, class II, DR beta 1. Notably, SS1 is known to play a role in epidermis development and immune response pathways, among other functions. The HLA-DRB1 protein is described to be 266 amino acid residues in length and 30 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the ER, lysosomes, and cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in professional APCs: monocyte/macrophages, dendritic cells and B cells. This protein is known to be ubiquitinated and glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include DRB1, HLA-DR1B, and HLA-DRB. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
