TASK ELISA Kits

These TASK ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of TASK in biological samples. TASK is an alias of the human KCNK3 gene, which encodes the protein, potassium two pore domain channel subfamily K member 3. Notably, TASK is known to play a role in brain development and the cellular response to hypoxia, among other functions. The KCNK3 protein is described to be 394 amino acid residues in length and 43.5 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be widely expressed in adult. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include K2p3.1, OAT1, and PPH4.
