ALOX15B ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein arachidonate 15-lipoxygenase type B, which is encoded by the ALOX15B gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in the apoptotic pathway and the metabolism of lipids. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 676 residues, a mass of 75.9 kDa, and is a member of the Lipoxygenase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be expressed in hair, prostate, lung, ovary, lymph node, spinal cord and cornea. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include polyunsaturated fatty acid lipoxygenase ALOX15B, 15-LOX-B, 15S-lipoxygenase, arachidonate 15-lipoxygenase 2, and 15-LOX-2.
Some ALOX15B ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
