These HNP-4 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of HNP-4 in biological samples. HNP-4 is an alias of the human DEFA4 gene, which encodes the protein, defensin alpha 4. Notably, HNP-4 is known to play a role in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides, among other functions. The DEFA4 protein is described to be 97 amino acid residues in length and 10.5 kilodaltons in mass. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in neutrophils. Other names for this target antigen include DEF4 and HP-4.
There are HNP-4 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
