ADP-GK is an alias of the human ADPGK gene, which encodes the protein, ADP dependent glucokinase. Notably, ADP-GK is known to play a role in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis and protein phosphorylation, among other functions. The ADPGK protein is 497 amino acid residues in length and 54.1 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 6 protein isoforms have been identified. It is known to be a secreted protein. Other names for this target antigen include ATP-dependent glucokinase and rbBP-35.
