NAT2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein N-acetyltransferase 2, which is encoded by the NAT2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to participate in the detoxification of a plethora of hydrazine and arylamine drugs. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 290 residues, a mass of 33.6 kDa, and is a member of the Arylamine N-acetyltransferase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. Other alias names for this target include PNAT, arylamine N-acetyltransferase 2, N-acetyltransferase 2 (arylamine N-acetyltransferase), N-acetyltransferase type 2, arylamide acetylase 2, and AAC2.
